Мо бо алифбои форси ё кириллик?

Вактхои охир дар чомеаи Точикистон мавзуи гузариш аз алифбои имрузаи кириллик ба форси зиёд бахс мешавад. Ин мавзуи мухимро пайгири ва андешахои худро илова хохам кард. Холо навиштаи худро дар як махфили инглис забон инчо мегузорам.

My friends! There should be no doubt that we, Tajiks, will have to turn to our own alphabet sooner or later should we want to remain and prosper as a nation. The return to our own alphabet is not just about reconnecting with our glorious past, but more importantly about reversing present cultural degradation in our society and creating better future for our nation. Only together with our brothers and sisters of the same language, culture and heritage can we be strong and prosper. In fact, Persian alphabet is perfect for our language otherwise we would not have such great people in our history as Rudaki, Firdavsi, Sino, Khayom, Forobi and many many others who thought and created with this alphabet. At least, it shouldn’t be hard for anyone to weigh over 130 million people with over 1300 years of rich culture in Persian alphabet against 7 million population with only 70 years in cyrillic.

Of course, when this corrupt and inefficient government can’t even provide basic living standards for its people, it will be a disaster for them to try to change the alphabet. It is not the task of their minds and capacity, for sure. So, it is our generation that will be responsible for this and other crucial changes to come in our society when we will replace them in the next two decades. Evidently, the change of alphabet is not done right away and overnight. It will be accomplished by a new top-management team in the government that will gradually, thoughtfully and effectively make such dramatic, necessary changes happen to jump-start the real growth of our nation.
